We here in Germany are actually too old to have a clue about Blue, but he seems to be a little blue cartoon dog, who is helping his (real life) friend Steve to understand the world around him and to solve everyday problems of kids. The problems deal with things like feelings or things that blue has seen „that day“ (episode). The series was meant for kids in kindergarten or pre school and was shown on TV between 1996 and 2006. What exactely the cutie has to do or in common with Skateboarding and Nike SB is not clear yet.
Blue nevertheless now made it to be a template for a new in line Nike Dunk Low Pro SB that will be released in April. Pictures of the Blue Fury/ Deep Royal-Blue Fury coloured shoe appeared lately on @wholelottarik’s Instagram account and are shown here.
The shoe has a light blue (Nike SB calls it Blue Fury) upper and a dark blue Swoosh. The difference in the light blue of the upper can be put down to the use of different materials. The base, consisting of toebox, sidepanel and rear/ collar panel, are made of nubuk, the overlays are made of suede. The shoe also shows a silver heel tab with a dark blue NIKE lettering on it. A Nike SB branding, also in dark blue, can be seen on the tongue label. The tongue itself is made of mesh and also held in light blue. Underneath the white midsole sits a grey outsole, which could also be translucent…not clearly recognizable. The „Blue’s Clue“ SB Dunk Low comes in a purple SB box, including a second pair of dark blue laces.
As far as we have information about a specific release date and which retailers will get this low top Dunk, we will let you know. So make sure to follow @dunk.bar on Instagram for further information.
